To Those Not Assured of my Nerdom...

This Mother's day, my dad is taking mum out to see the new Star Trek movie. *sniff!* I'm so blessed to be born in this family!

Anyways...

Hey, it's been awhile! To those who do not know me personally are probably wondering why I haven't updated my gallery. It's because I've been updating my FF.net account. BURN. Well, that and living real life. I'm hoping to get a job before schools are let out so I don't get butted out by some lucky kid.

This month has been way busier than I even planned. Hell, this year has been really awkward. It just started and a lot of people I knew either really personally or casually have dropped dead. Normally I try going to the funerals, gatherings or what have you but I had to say no to the last ones.

But after all of that, it definitely encourages me to try to see my not so dead friends. I know I'm basically a hermit and I'm lousy at emails and call backs, but I do want to see everyone.

I've heard lots of good things...if you're not too much of a stickler for detail. Little things like the ship getting built in Iowa or something instead of LA and the transporter effect looking different...

As long as it's not a repeat of what happened with Enterprise the show, I'm happy. Heh.

Oh, I don't mind that some "historical" details are changed to make it seem more realistic, I'm good with that. Anything to make it seem like there might be a chance... in the future. XD

I am however, looking forward to seeing Star Trek getting good CG for once! I'm just nervous that Kirk isn't being played by Kirk. I can understand why (it's pretty obvious) it's just I really hope the actors have all of their quirks down! XD

Good CG is a huge plus.

I totally get Kirk by someone besides Shatner does not equal Kirk, when it comes down to it. But I think if Phase II did such a good job with just volunteers, a full-budget movie should have a good chance. *crosses fingers*
