Celestia looks really frightened... Except in last panel, when she sleeps with her sister's lullabye. Is just so adorable. I wonder if Celestia eyes are all red because of the crying or if she hasn't been sleeping (at least not much or well).
"No need to be scared of the dark. That's what we are here for" that being said by the future princess of the Moon/Night is just bonus point. A lot of them.
The red eyes would come from a combo. They only look extra bad because she's basically an albino which means when you bruise/etc it always looks extra bad. DX
